Resource Guide for low-income pet owners needs translator and a sponsor

A young man and his dog wait for services at a DCAP outreach event

As part of our outreach efforts, we’ve put together a Resource Guide designed specifically for low-income pet owners.  It’s going to be a wonderful tool we can use to help people properly care for their pet, but right now it’s only available in English, and only available online.  To be truly helpful, we need two versions – one in English and one in Spanish, and we need them to be printed for those who don’t have Internet access.

If you’re fluent in Spanish, and want to help out, please email dallascompanionanimalproject@gmail.com.  It’s not a lot of work and shouldn’t take more than an hour.

If you’re interested in a sponsorship opportunity, email us and let’s talk.  If you’ve got a printing company or know someone who does, we’d love to talk about an in-kind sponsorship – or if you’d prefer to donate cash for the printing, we can work with you to come up with a sponsorship that will work for you.

We are so grateful to all of our supporters.  We couldn’t do it without you!

Hi Michael – good catch. I thought we’d taken care of that but I guess now. I added a “Donate” link (just above the cute black & white puppy on the right hand side of the page). Just follow the link to the Dallas Animal Advocates website and scroll all the way down the page to select “Dallas Companion Animal Project” and fill in the amount. Thanks for caring, and thanks for pointing out the oversight!

  2. Awesome article!I like this site. Thanks dallastaskforce for post good article.
